Telusys, Inc. Announces Mobile and Smart Device Integration For the SmartSite^TM Content Management System [CMS]

ADDISON, ILLINOIS - July 7, 2014 - The SmartSite^TM content management system will now display Web pages that will automatically scale and respond to fit smart phone and tablet screens. This no cost software upgrade is available to all SmartSite clients beginning July21st.

SmartSite Mobile/Smart Device Upgrade Includes:

• Responsive site templates that respond and adjust to any screen size and resolution
• Automatic scaling of SmartSite CMS managed photos
• New file and directory management allowing Web pages to be stored in any location, path, or directory
• Web site content can now be organized and published into separate sections
• Web site sections can be assigned and published with their own SmartSite template
• Mobile sites now support new fast mobile-friendly and touch-friendly CSS based menus and navigation
• Each SmartSite section can be assigned its own unique navigation menus
• New SmartSite Mobile/Smart Device templates can now incorporate up to three separate independent navigation menus per page
• New Home page designs can now incorporate one, two, or three column layouts with the ability to target home page articles to specific columns
• SmartSite now has a flexible "Content Box" page type that supports the entry of free-form HTML content that can then be edited dropped into other pages on the site
• The new "Responsive Slides" page type can be used to created mobile-friendly animated slide presentations and carousels
• Mobile/Smart Device templates now feature jQuery support for custom JavaScript effects
• SmartSite template designs now support new font APIs and standards for superior typographical text quality and flexibility

Web Site Design For Mobile/Smart Device Viewing:
In most instances, the graphic template must be redesigned to accommodate this new feature. A Web site development fee of $750.00 will apply for the redesign to accommodate the unique requirements of mobile and smart device viewing. There is no need to change your existing page content if it has been input into the SmartSite CMS system. Association chapters working with the Chapters SmartSite program option should contact their parent organization to inquire if they will be able to take advantage of the upgrade.

CMS Training and Support:
No additional training or support is required to use the Mobile / Smart Device upgrade. Telusys’ staff will provide a managed changeover to this feature starting at $150.00 per site depending upon the size of the site. Please call us to inquire about this pricing option.
